Michelle Shocked’s June 3 concert has been moved from Newark’s Stone Balloon to the Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach.
Jim Baeurle and Alex Pires, part of a group that owns both clubs, said they moved the show because of poor ticket sales. Only 20 had been sold by Wednesday, Baeurle said. The two said they are guaranteed a larger crowd at the Bottle & Cork, which routinely sells out on Fridays.
Admission will be $2 at the door; tickets for the Balloon show were $8.
