Michelle Shocked and her band, Casualties of Law [sic], are expected to rivet the crowd June 18, in the Jackson Hole High School gym.

“Michelle works the stage like no one else does,” says concert promoter Steve Chichinsky of Frontier Productions. The gym seats up to 1,600 people.

Chichinsky and his group are bringing in a high-fidelity sound system and first-class light show.

Shocked will sing from a boxed-off stage to prevent feedback from echoes, and the audience will be given cottonballs to stuff in their ears to help with the acoustic problems.

Tickets are on sale at Tobacco Row and Global Exchange. They cost $18.50 in advance, and $21 on day of show. Doors open at 7 p.m.
