Michelle Shocked has lived up to her name by pulling out of this year’s Tutbury music festival at the last minute due to legal reasons.
But the organisers have managed to replace her with an equally good artist – Nanci Griffith, considered by some to be “the torch-bearer of American folk music.”
Tickets for the 1993 Tutbury Midsummer Music Festival from June 19-20 are still available, priced at £15 and £4 for children under 12. Box office 0283 508000.
