The next day we recorded them in the slave quarters of Michelle’s house. Sent the DAT off to the printer/presser/CD maker and held our breath for the next three days until they arrived, the entire 2000 limited edition run, and listened to #0001 for the first time. Exhale. Sigh of relief. Tour manager knocks on the door. ‘Showtime’ he says. We mean ‘artists’ in the sense of ‘one who lives the reflective life’.
